Invisible fences are popular because they are aesthetically pleasing. But there are some cautions to consider. For one thing, nothing prevents another animal from coming onto your property. Also, a dog can run past the fence line. They might get shocked, but it might be worth it to them to get across. If there is an electrical outage or the batteries in your dog’s collar die, the fence is compromised.
